Jennifer Meiselman Titus received her LL.M. in Taxation from the highly ranked University of Florida Law School where she served as a student editor on the prestigious FLORIDA TAX REVIEW. For twenty years, Jennifer focused her legal career on protecting families, children removed from their parents because of abuse, neglect, or abandonment, and survivors of domestic violence. She received board certification from the Florida Bar in juvenile law. She is a passionate and zealous advocate for her clients.
Jennifer combines her past legal experiences and her LL.M. to help families plan and protect what is truly important to them. Jennifer is empathetic and caring and believes that everyone can benefit from good planning and education. Jennifer’s current practice areas include estate planning, wills and trusts, probate, guardianship, and elder law with an emphasis on children and adults with disabilities. Jennifer wants everyone to recognize that planning at all stages of life is important including when becoming parents, after a dissolution of marriage finalizes, when children turn 18 and attend college, when grandchildren are born, following deaths of loved ones, and retirement.
Jennifer is a native Floridian. She grew up in Jacksonville, Florida and graduated from Stanton College Preparatory High School. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of South Florida. She completed law school at California Western School of Law in San Diego, California. She has lived in Gainesville since 2011. She is active in the local community where she serves on boards and volunteers. She is also active in the legal community where she has served on several statewide and local committees. She is married, has three children, a dog, and a cat. When she is not working or spending time with her family, she enjoys dancing (badly) to 80s music, reading, and practicing Kung Fu.
